MONKEY MANIA
Do we need socks?
Children & Adults are required to wear socks on all play equipment inside Monkey Mania. We sell socks if required.
Why are socks required?
Socks on prevent children from climbing up slides and areas where no climb netting is used, socks also assist in preventing germs from spreading from from one person to another.
How long can we play for at Monkey Mania?
Each admission ticket entitles you to a single entry of unlimited play for the day. We do not give pass outs. Adults and children can be accompanied out of Monkey Mania to play in the other area's of House of WOW however we do not let children out of our gates without an adult.
Are adults allowed on the play equipment?
If a child requires assistance we allow the parents to assist their children.
Can I leave my children at Monkey Mania?
Parents are not allowed to leave their children in the centre without a guardian unless they have signed up for the Drop ‘n Shop/ Drop ‘n Dine Service. The Drop ‘n Shop/Dine service allows parents to leave children aged 5 years and older (must be toilet trained) to be left in the care of Monkey Mania for upto three hours. Please see the Drop ‘n Shop/Dine section on each location page for further info. (Not available at Bankstown).
TURBO CLIMB
How old do I need to be to climb?
We require climbers to be 4+ years and weigh 15kg, the max weight our system is designed to hold is 115kg.
What should I wear when climbing?
Comfortable active wear is ideal along with closed in shoes.
When do you run climbing sessions?
We have sessions available hourly, they start on the hour but we ask all climbers arrive 15 minutes earlier to complete a safety briefing before the session starts.
BOOKINGS
Do I need to make a booking for a play at Monkey Mania?
No, if you are coming in for a casual play. Tables are not reserved, we do our best to quickly separate tables during the busy periods. If you are a large group it's always best to let us know you are coming and pre-order food. For school groups and vacation care facilities please contact your local store to make a booking.
Do I need to make a booking to bowl?
No, you can pop in and bowl but it is suggested a reservation be made online to prevent dissapointment should all lanes be booked out.
Do I need to make a booking to climb?
During peak periods it is recommneded that bookings be made online however you we do allow for walk in's
BOWLING
How many people can bowl on one lane?
The maximum number of bowlers per lane is 6. We offer traditonal bowling or Hyper Bowl.
Do I need to wear bowling shoes?
Yep, sure do! Don't forget your socks either.
Should I make a booking for bowling?
It would be a good idea to make a booking to avoid sad faces on the day. You can make a reservation via the Hyper Strike webiste.
OTHER
Can I bring my own food?
No, there is a fully stocked kitchen/cafe with a wide variety of food and drink. Baby food is an exception.
CELEBRATING AN EVENT - Without a booking a party package
Can I host my own casual birthday party at House of WOW?
Yes but please note: tables are unable to be reserved, no outside food and drink to be brought in other than the birthday cake (as per above a cakeage fee applies), no decorations are to placed on walls, tables, chairs or the roof (including tablecloths). Any adult platters need to be pre-ordered and paid for in advance.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
If you have booked a party package in a private room you may bring your own cake. Please note we cannot store or refrigerate your cake therefor ice-cream cakes are not ideal. For Casual parties we have a cakeage fee. The fee is $3 per person ($35 minimum) that will allow you to bring in a birthday cake and includes the plates, bowls, serviettes, candles and a plastic knife to cut the cake. Please take note further information about having a casual birthday at House of WOW.
What dress do you suggest?
Socks are mandatory. We also suggest long pants to avoid skin burns on the slides. When climbing at Turbo Climb it is suggested that comfortable active wear be worn and closed toe shoes be worn.
Do I need to wear bowling shoes?
Yes, we require all bowlers wear our bowling shoes, all of our bowling shoes are santised after each use. Socks are required to be worn when wearing our bowling shoes.
Do you cater for large groups
Yes, we offer a range of packages for various groups including Work Functions, Christmas functions & Play Groups. Call and speak with our venue manager about the different options available.
